How to Obtain Discount:

First Time Customers - Registration Instructions
1. Access registration form at the following URL: https:\\www.ordering2.com\nytimes\employee.phtml
2. Complete form (Requires 6-digit employee ID number and selection of a username and password)
3. Hit "Submit Registration" - "Registration Complete" page will appear
4. Click "Return to NYT Store" to begin shopping
*When ready to check out, click "Proceed to Checkout" (on the "Your Shopping Cart" page) and follow Payment Screen Instructions below

Returning Customers
1. Access the "Books" section of the store at the following URL: http://www.nytimes.com/nytstore/books/index.html
2. When ready to check out, select "Log On" on the left navigation of the "Your Shopping Cart" page (*This option must be selected to obtain discount - NOT "Proceed to Checkout")
3. Enter username and password
*Follow Payment Screen Instructions below

Payment Screen Instructions
*Applies to both first time and repeat customers
1. Enter code NYTEDC into the Promotion Code box
2. Enter credit card information
3. Choose "Review Order"
4. The discount will be reflected on the Confirmation Page

Troubleshooting
If the discount is not reflected on the Confirmation Page, several scenarios may have occurred, these are:
1. No qualifying items were on the order
2. The employee did not login
3. The employee did not create account using the employee registration page (https:\\www.ordering2.com\nytimes\employee.phtml), but instead used the standard customer registration.
